We managed to participate in an interactive discussion with AgnoShin’s Vice President of Operations, Ms. Gomathi Perumal. Question 1: Can you please tell us about what the beginning chapters of the journey looked like?
For any start-up, everything is a challenge in the initial phases. Whether it is paying a huge deposit in advance for your office, upfront IT infrastructure investments, or sharing the vision of the company with friends and associates, situations were topsy-turvy for us. We were glad to have the support of our team members and associates who jumped into the turbulence for AgnoShin. From a team-building perspective as well, we performed many tests and trials to find like-minded and committed individuals to execute the business plan. We navigated these challenges and succeeded in building a strong domain.
Question 2: Could you kindly provide us with a brief overview of the company’s services?
AgnoShin is an IT services consulting firm that optimizes customer interaction processes using deep contact optimization experience, business acumen, and contact center technology knowledge. As the customer experience management domain is indispensable for every industry, we help businesses stay connected with their end customers via new-age tools.
AgnoShin is adept at developing, enhancing, and maintaining services for applications, regardless of the technology used. Acknowledging that applications need to be upgraded with business growth, we provide flexible and continual support, ensuring optimal performance with minimal risks.
Question 3: In an age of mistrust, are you seeing an evolution in how consumers trust brands?
This is a very interesting question. How will one wipe out or erase mistrust once it is created? Customers remember a company only through the quality of its services and the kind of attention they receive. A proven past track record and the appreciation received from customers keep any organization on the correct path. Definitely, customers are very aware of their expectations, and keeping them in the dark is completely irrelevant.
AgnoShin proudly stands by the fact that going the extra mile for clients has been the cornerstone of its working model, even before we started the company. In a complex technology domain, it is important to recognize that customers, despite having numerous options in the market, have walked up to us to find solutions. Hence, it is our sole duty to reciprocate the same value and faith to the customers. We always believe that if we take care of customers, they will take care of our business.
Question 4: What are the most effective marketing initiatives or programs that the company has leveraged?
Along with our solution partner, we participate in Global Expos, Nasscom Meetings, BNI Meetings, SME and MSME collaborations, Gitex Events, partner events, and other business associate programs. These days, we are actively leveraging the LinkedIn and Facebook environments.
Question 5: What are the new categories that AgnoShin is planning to introduce in the future?
We are planning to venture into domains like cloud security, AI, etc. and add more services to our portfolio. These technologies have played their part in alleviating standards in the customer contact management domain. Hence, the team is excited to tap into these technologies.
Question 6: Have you measured how much trust consumers have in your brand?
We don’t do any statistical modeling or organized surveys. Feedback from customers and integration partners is always sought and utilized. For a growing company like AgnoShin, customer retention numbers and revenue growth from existing key customers are important metrics. AgnoShin will be extending its product lines, hoping that customers will be able to feel and experience high-quality services.
Question 7: How has your journey as an entrepreneur been?
There is a famous saying that “life begins when fear is lost.” It was difficult to quit my lucrative and secure corporate career to come to work and start life once again. This journey has helped us personally; we know who we are and what potential we have to offer the business ecosystem. In summary, it’s happy and intoxicating!
Question 8: What do you hope to accomplish within the next year from both a personal and professional point of view?
From a professional point of view, we intend to work hard on improving our first-time metrics. We want to provide more value-driven services to our key customers and expand to new global boundaries. From my perspective, I want to propel in the direction of creating a happier, more conducive, and more warming work culture in our office. We will also be pouring in dedicated efforts towards CSR with our foundation.
Question 9: As you mentioned about CSR, we would like to know what activities AgnoShin is undertaking in the present.
AgnoShin laid the foundation of the Meiporul Foundation in 2015 as a volunteer non-governmental organization. The foundation has committed itself to creating brighter futures for more than 50 deserving students with disabilities every year. Recognizing the state toppers of SSLC and HSC with disabilities, their education and extracurricular int erests are sponsored with complete guidance. The Meiporul Foundation is also focusing on developing the education of tribal children. With special emphasis on the poor and vulnerable, we facilitate essential medical services for them to improve their healthy lifestyles.
Question 10: We would like you to share valuable advice for our readers and the young entrepreneurs reading this draft.
I hope the readers are able to learn some values from my story. I would advise all the young minds and brewing entrepreneurs to keep investing time and energy into getting themselves surrounded by positive people. Never get carried away with success, and stay connected to your root reality. Build trust with your team members and respect them for deciding to be with you, despite the many opportunities available in the market.
